As healers and coaches, we are failing the public. There is a technology gap in what we are doing and how we respond to people’s problems. Most people get into healing or self-development to deal with their painbodies.

The condition of having a pain body has two main expressions.

Type  #1

Type one is a perfectionist, maybe OCD, uptight, high achieving and has difficulty enjoying their success. Type 1 are unable to pat themselves on the back. There is a validation they are seeking through all their hard work, they seek to be loved and appreciated for what they have achieved. They will not see themselves as ‘good enough.’ They work very hard to compensate for their belief in their own inferiority and doubt. Their self-esteem is incredibly low and they are often people pleasers.

What they don’t realize is that they always were good enough, not just for the amount of pressure they put on themselves to achieve, but just for who they already were. They appreciation they are seeking cannot be accepted, because they reject the compliments and acclaim they receive for their achievements. Everyone can see their worth except themselves.

Anxiety is a major component of the type #1 pain body carrier. This pervades all their thinking. It makes them freeze when in contact with new situations and people. The sense of something bad being about to happen at any moment keeps them in a fairly constant state of adrenal rush. In extreme cases, this anxiety causes panic attacks where the sense of doom overpowers all thought and body function.

Type #1 also carry a really rough internal discipline. It is almost as though they are constantly cracking the whip over themselves. Whatever they do is not good enough, it can always be better. They do not reach a point of satisfaction in what they do. The pressure is constant and intense. It will often keep them awake at night. In OCD patients, they repeat the task to reach that perfection.

Due to their hard work, they are often quite high achievers. I would suggest that due to the rigorous academic requirements, most lawyers and psychologists are in fact, type 1 carriers.

So what I do is the simple, quick operation of removing these pain bodies. Once they are gone, most of these symptoms evaporate in over the course of a month or two and people just blossom.

Type #2

Type #2 Are people who really enjoy drugs and alcohol. Are prone to, and excited by extreme behaviours. Usually, type two people get a thrill just as messed-up things are about to happen.  They do not realize the pain their behaviours cause to those around them. This is a difficult person to be around. They are usually very focused on self and have real difficulty with empathy.

Quite often these people have a very messy house, life and mind. Younger type 2 people will typically change life plans monthly or more often. They often have trouble sticking to one course of action. Have trouble staying in one job, or complain about the incompetence of the management when in one. They have issues with being so much smarter than everyone else and are often devious for its own sake.

Depression is a major part of the type 2 carrier. There is a blanket belief that everything is crap. Seriously. And since they are often self-obsessed, this belief also covers themselves. Instead of fighting to prove they are worthy as type 1 does, type 2 will concede defeat and identify themselves as full time losers. Kurt Cobain is a good example of type 2 and his lyrics will give insight into the extreme lifestyle he lead as a type 2

Most crave drugs or alcohol and require it on a regular basis. Their enthusiasm for this cannot be underestimated. The reason why is because they need it to cope with their pain bodies. The noise in their head is so extreme that the only thing that offers any relief is being wasted. They will seem like an entirely different person when inebriated.

It is such a pity that doing this regularly causes so much damage to their own lives and those around them. When  they choose drugs and alcohol over jobs, money, family, friends, husbands or wives, opportunities and the very roof over their heads; it only belies the severity of their internal headspace. When they say they don’t know why they do it, they are 100% correct and genuine.
